ORANGE GLO® To Air Television Advertising Campaign
ORANGE GLO® Wood Polish and Conditioner is launching their first ever full-scale television advertising campaign. Their agency for this campaign, ClearMedia.tv, has the production of their 30-second television commercial well underway and will be creating a French version for air as well. Taking advantage of the most influential, informative, and entertaining medium ever created is sure to generate even more success for this unique brand that has carved out an inarguable niche for itself in the marketplace.
ORANGE GLO®, the high quality wood conditioner, cleaner, and polish that’s made from the natural oils found in the peels of oranges, will commence their television advertising campaign with the opening of the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
CBC has the exclusive rights to the Canadian broadcasts for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and CBC Newsworld will be airing Olympics Highlights in 8-12 minute segments every hour that will show the latest Olympic events including the current medal count, re-caps of the races and events, and any late breaking new items related to the Olympics.
ClearMedia.tv has booked ORANGE GLO® to air their commercial in CBC Newsworld’s Olympics Highlights coverage to be broadcast nationally, coast-to-coast, in over 7 million homes from September 15 to October 1st, 2000. Research has proven that viewership on Newsworld always multiplies during these types of special events. Not only will ORANGE GLO® benefit from these increases in audience, they will also gain the tremendous recognition that is a natural byproduct of advertising in such a prestigious event as this.
To include the Francophone market, the French version of the ORANGE GLO® commercial will air in the Olympics coverage on RDI as well. RDI is CBC’s national network that is the French equivalent to the English only CBC Newsworld. RDI will be running a variety of programming covering the Olympics events.
After the close of the Olympics, ORANGE GLO® will be following up with a multi-station television buy in Toronto strategically targeting Women 25-54 Principal Shoppers. This portion of their campaign will air from October 9th to November 5th, 2000 including placements to air in Oprah, CFTO Newsbeat Today, Coronation Street, Jenny Jones, Montel Williams, All My Children, Cityline and Breakfast Television to name a few.
With all that is planned, this first venture into television advertising for ORANGE GLO® is sure to be a success, warranting a long future for ORANGE GLO® in the powerful television advertising medium.
