ORKIN PCO Services Corporation Launches National Television Advertising Campaign

ORKIN PCO, Canada’s largest pest control provider, is launching their first ever full-scale Canadian television advertising campaign beginning Monday, May 31st and ending Sunday, July 11th, 2010.

Featuring life-sized insects that walk, talk and attempt to invade the homes of unsuspecting humans with sales pitches and smooth talk, the creative utilized in the campaign has fun with the serious subject of pest control.  Originally produced for the U.S. market, ORKIN PCO Canada had the creative re-versioned for Canadian broadcast, and even re-vamped and included the original “Call PCO” jingle first created for Pest Control Ontario’s advertising in the 1970’s.

The nationally-televised campaign features over 2 hours of national airtime on networks such as CTV News Channel, CBC News Network, HGTV Canada and the DIY Network, and the spots will be aired in premium programming such as the CTV National News, Fifth Estate, CBC News, The National, Extreme Home Makeover and Holmes on Holmes.
